Have any of you tried doing the Carnivore diet? Only eating animal products such as butter, eggs, red meat, stuff like that.

@JackBandit Oh I agree. I'm not fat, I haven't been able to be fat. Something to do with my metabolism. I'm just curious about it

The only people I know who eat carnivore (or a modified version of it) have serious autoimmune diseases, and eating a very strict diet reduces symptoms.

I don't do the carnivore diet since I still eat some vegetables and fruits (but my diet is mostly animal products), but one of my friends has been doing it for a few years.

He has nothing but good things to say about it. After a lifetime of being unable to put on muscle mass, he was finally able to do so. He has reported higher energy levels and generally feeling healthier.

Each person is different, but I think the carnivore (or nearly carnivore) diet is worth trying.

Easiest way to eat healthy is dropping all sugar and sugar-containing products. No cheating with honey or sirup/fruit juice or anything dubious.

Next is to buy good quality fresh meat, fish, diary, and veggies. Nothing processed.

Meat only is probably only for people with a condition. As far as I know it's best to eat least some veggies.

I'm not fat, never been fat. But I was more fat than I wanted to be, and even dramatically cutting calories back, there was still a plateau I couldn't get under and stay under (150). Switched to almost entirely just eggs, steak, chicken, and pork and finally managed to break under.

Steamed carrots and broccoli when I was being really strict about it. And any raw fruit.

These days I'll also allow myself a stir fry other veggies, but it took me a while to clear the mental block of using lard as stir fry oil. Was programmed in there quite hard that I needed seed oils for that.
