The amount of jumping through our own assholes people want to do instead of just converting us over to renewable energy to eliminate fossil fuel usage is truly hilarious to me. If we started taking this seriously 30 years ago when it first became obvious what was happening we would have been done by now. But nope, right wingers gotta right wing obstruct progress on anything and big oil had to big oil so they could keep lining their pockets so here we are. #ClimateChange #rant https://journals.plos.org/climate/article?id=10.1371/journal.pclm.0000133

minus 1000 plus 220 = (progress, I guess?)
Have you heard of Lithium mining?
How about Cobalt?
Do you have any idea what it takes to manufacture, transport, install and maintain just one of those giant windmills?
Germany PAID #SouthAfrica to stop using #Coal, and then BOUGHT OUR COAL.
Now we're stuck with 6 ~ 12 hours of #loadshedding, country wide, on a daily basis. (not just because of Germany, shit we got 99 problems and corrupt government is all of them).
Do you know who is really behind the push for (so-called) "renewables"?
Talk about #BigCorp & billionaires lining their own pockets.
Who are really the ones jumping through their own assholes?
Give me a break.

Even my little personal car uses yearly around 1000 litres of fuel - that's quite a lot if you consider refinement, transportation and all other impacts of this fuel, which only has one use - to burn :)
